This is the gnome who lives in Steve's garden in Liverpool. The poor thing was unemployed after Steve moved to Spain, so we decided to make him the new official radio show mascot. We think it was the least we could do for him.

Steve meets Frank Maudsley - the fantastic bassist from the 1980's Liverpool new wave sensation 'A Flock Of Seagulls'. They met in Mathew Street (home of the famous Cavern Club) on a trip back home to Liverpool.
The band is so ace, even Chandler in the sitcom Friends had a Flock of Seagulls haircut in the 1980's flashback episodes. What´s Frank doing with that big box? Answers on a postcard.... Anyway, whilst we wait to find out, don´t forget we´ve got regular music shows... More details
One of the highlights of Steve´s broadcasting career was interviewing his musical hero Jay Semko. The Canadian took almost an hour out of his busy schedule for the interview. Jay was picked by Oscar winning director Paul Haggis to compose the music for Due South.
